Our Press Room

This is where we print all kinds of labels. From simple one inch circle, to six colors, four sided peel and read “on Pack Coupons”; From no tack, to low tack to “this thing will never come off” tack. We have the right materials, colors and finishes to get you the exact look and “stick” you envisioned.

Our Press room floor includes 6 flexographic presses that run large quantity print jobs. 2 digital presses for smaller quality runs and thermal printers for barcodes, sequencing, and variable information on pre-printed generic logo labels.

Choosing the Right Paper

Here are a few Environmental questions to consider when thinking through the label
process:

1) What will your label be adhering to? Glass, plastic, film, shrinkwrap, paper, cardboard, metal, wood?

2) Once applied, what will the label be exposed to? Moisture, temperature, UV rays, dust, chemicals, abrasion?

3) What will the temperature be at time of application?

Room temp (50-75 degrees)

Chilled (32 to 50 degrees)

Frozen (-20 to 32 degrees)

Other ______ degrees

There are also a number of Physical questions to consider about your label:

1) Where will it be placed?

2) How long is the expected shelf life?

3) Do you want your label to be Removable (becomes permanent over time), Ultra-removable (very easy to remove) or Permanent Adhesive?

Although these may seem like a lot of questions, they are very important to consider and our team will work with you to find the right stock for your products needs.

The Proper Tooling

(Continued)

Creative Labels of Vermont, Inc. has thousands of cutting dies to choose from. Varying from Circles, ovals, rectangles and squares to special shapes ordered specifically to meet your label requirements.
Sizes range from 1/4′ circle dies to 30″ special shape die.

There are times when a certain size or shape is required to properly fit the product being labeled or needed in order to fulfill a specific purpose.

Proper fit plays an important role in the performance of labels. Labels that do not conform to a curved or tapered surface often wrinkle or bubble, and can be extremely difficult to apply. Even simple rectangles need to fit in order to avoid edge lift or potential overlap.

CLOV can arrange to have die lines created at no charge in advance of the tooling purchase, which the customer and/or designer can approve and use during the label design process.

When you work with our team we will ask you specific questions pertaining to your label vision and suggest what would work best for your product.
